ICAR AIEEA Normalization of Marks
The ICAR AIEEA UG\PG Exam was conducted in multiple shifts, so the results will be prepared on the basis of normalization of the rough marks of the students. With the help of this, the conducting authority is to eliminate the advantages and disadvantages caused to the students due to the difficulty level of the paper conducted in multiple sessions and shifts.
The normalized score is called as a percentile score. This percentile score is used to prepare the result of the candidates. Percentile score and percentile are two different things.
The formula of Percentile score –
Percentile Score = 100 X (Number of students participating in the ‘Session’ with rough marks equal to OR less than the students) ÷ (Total no. of students participating in the ’Session’)
